Welcome to Little Horizons

A calm place where every child belongs.

Little Horizons is a school built for children with special learning needs. We start by getting to know your child: their strengths, their interests and the way they like to learn.

From there, our specialists and teachers shape a plan together with you, and celebrate every step forward, big or small.

  • Trained specialists

  • Calm, small classrooms

  • Parents as partners

Parent FAQ

Starting somewhere new can feel big. Here are honest answers to the things families ask us most.

You don't have to decide alone. Every child starts with an assessment, and our specialists then recommend the programs that suit your child's strengths and needs. You can always change the plan as your child grows.

It's a relaxed visit, not a test. We meet your child through play, observe how they learn and communicate, and talk with you about your hopes and worries. Afterwards we share what we noticed in plain language.

Yes. We welcome families to see our spaces and meet the team by appointment, so your child can feel comfortable before the first day.

You'll get regular updates and scheduled review meetings. We explain what is working, what comes next and how you can support learning at home.

We work with a range of learning needs, and every plan is personal. If you're unsure whether we're the right fit, just ask. We'll answer honestly and point you to other help if needed.

Parent stories

Words from our families.

Hear from parents about what the journey has felt like for them and their children.

Our son used to dread mornings. Now he walks in smiling. The team listens, explains things clearly and celebrates every small win with us.

Olivia Tomas Parent of a Little Horizons student

The personal plan gave us a clear picture of what she was working on, and the regular updates helped us practice the same things at home.
